Peru: Classic Inca Trail Day 4 – The Final Push to Machu Picchu
On Day 4 of the Inca Trail, we embarked on the final push toward Machu Picchu after a night of heavy rain. Battling fatigue and excitement, our group, accompanied by the loyal stray dog Chico, navigated misty valleys and ancient ruins. The magical moment of stepping through the Sun Gate to witness the Lost City of the Incas was overwhelming, blending awe and relief.
